The new S1100pj is not just a “cool looking gadget” but is a typically high-quality Nikon camera.
To ensure sharp pictures every time, the S1100pj contains five functions to lessen image blur, while a user-friendly modes such as Smart Portrait System and Easy Auto mode mean you don’t have to worry about choosing the right setting for your shot, leaving you to focus on getting just the right image.
The Coolpix S1100pj features a new Paint function allows users to draw or write on projected images in real time, while a wide range of new Retouch functions allow users to add stamps for an entertaining effect or rate their favorite photos for a more convenient search. Other new functions in the Nikon S1100pj’s in-camera Retouch Menu include Soft, Fisheye Effect, Cross Screen, Selective Color, Makeup Effect, and Miniature Effect giving the user creative freedom without the need for a computer.
The new projector also has taken a boost with a 40% brighter projected image for those photos and videos shot when using the new Nikon Coolpix S1100pj. It looks as though Nikon has been kind enough to make the S1100pj into a usable projector. Other updates from the new S1100pj, it can record HD-quality (1280×720) videos as opposed to VGA-resolution (640×480) videos on its predecessor Nikon S1000pj.
The Nikon S1100pj is a unique product and until now no other camera on the market can match its projector function. This S1100pj camera is primarily aimed at two groups of users: the younger crowd who want to share pictures with other people easily, and the business users who may find the projector function useful for work. That said, the idea of incorporating a projector into other consumer devices is not exclusive to cameras.
