Nikon Coolpix S80 Compact Camera
ByNikon has announced a new Stylish Compact Camera, the Coolpix S80. With a sleeker design than the Coolpix S70, the Nikon Coolpix S80 has a sliding face case that activates the camera when uncovering the viewfinder and flash. When the camera is rotated horizontally or vertically during operation, the controls on the screen also rotate to your viewing angle. The touch screen on the Nikon S80 is 3.5-inch and uses the 14.1 MP sensor to take shots.
The Coolpix S80 is also outfitted with High Definition (HD) video recording, and supports a HD video resolution of 720p (1280 x 960 pixels). Sound is recorded in stereo, and via the HDMI interface, photos and HD video clips can be displayed on an HDTV.
The Nikon S80 offers VR Image Stabilization and high sensitivity up to ISO 6400. The S80 has an ultra slim body with built-in optical 5x zoom NIKKOR lens. In practice, the dimensions of the Coolpix S80 will never become larger than when it is switched off. In a variety of colors – red, black, blue, pink, silver, and gold, the stylish Nikon Coolpix S80 is as beautiful as the pictures it takes.

EXPEED C2 helps expand the possibilities of photography, offering improved levels of high image quality, fine detail and processing speed. To further help users take better photos, the Nikon Coolpix S80 includes the 17 scene modes, which automatically recognizes the shooting situation and adjusts camera settings accordingly for amazing photos in any environment. For great portraits, the Coolpix S80 features Nikon’s Smart Portrait System, which incorporates a series of automatic functions including improved Smile Timer, In‐Camera Red‐Eye Fix, Face‐Priority AF, Blink Proof, Blink Warning, and Skin Softening to flatter even the most camera‐shy subject. In addition, the Retouch Menu lets users easily adjust images in camera with the touch of a finger by choosing from a wide range of functions, including Selective Color, Soft Focus, Color Options, Cross Screen, Fish‐eye Effect and Miniature Effect. In playback mode, the user can even add moving stamps for an animated effect.
