I have a Sony digicam cybershot and whenever I take videos the zoom button doesn’t seem to work. I also noticed this in other Sony digicams. So is there like a settin for the zoom of the video to work?

Try reducing the quality of the video then try to zoom, or maybe you have to zoom in before you start the video,
go to www.sony.com and look at the manual.

I don’t know that camera but that’s quite common for digital cameras (as opposed to camcorders). There’s no option to switch it on – you can’t zoom while you’re recording video.
